Florjan's Restaurant in Wenningstedt

A nice restaurant in a modern setting. Always friendly staff. Central location for Wenningstedt on Sylt. Priced in the upper range of island prices. Quality of the food was good. No long waiting time when eating. No reservation necessary.

We (a young couple) have just been to this restaurant and everything was perfect! Attentive service, fast service and everyone very friendly! The food was excellent! We could not find that single travelers are discriminated against, a woman sat next to us who was served very nicely. Always happy! 👍🏻

There is something for everyone on this menu the dishes all tasted very good all beautifully dressed with a high quality and very fresh I even had a little something from my own cultivation The service is also very friendly and courteous 😇

We were at Florjan for the first time today and it was (almost) perfect! The staff was super attentive, friendly and funny - we felt we were in good hands and given great advice on drinks and food. I had the st peter fish which was delicious! My fiance the fish plate which was "the best fish plate" he has ever eaten. That means something! The kitchen is characterized by being down-to-earth as well as great, creative nuances. The only drawback of the evening was the starter platter, which we didn't find the price / performance ratio too good, but it was tasty on its own. Next time we'd opt for individual plates! Don't let strange reviews unsettle you - it's good we didn't!

Super friendly service. The brothers do a great job and the father cooks great. Even our dog was given a towel after a shower. We'd love to come back.

From the aperitif to the dessert, food and drinks were a feast for the palate and the eye. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would like to come again

Seldom eaten so delicious! On the recommendation of our friends, the four of us went to eat at Florjans today. When we entered the restaurant, there was unfortunately not a single seat left for us as 'non-reserved guests'. The shop was full, which of course meant for us that the food had to really taste good, which was later confirmed. The service welcomed us very nicely and courteously, despite the full house !. The boss advised us that we would get a place after 30 minutes. Even though it was almost too late, we decided to go out to eat there 'around 9-10 p.m.' and returned after a short walk, it was really worth it. Food first class! Beef carpaccio, crown of lamb, tiramisu, it was delicious and made with so much love. Later we found out that this is a family restaurant and that the father of the boys in the service is the cook. Drinks first class! Service top! Mood top! We definitely recommend the restaurant and say thank you for the great evening. Dominic, Caro, Jochen and Alina 😊

We have never experienced that before !!! Made an appointment for dinner for 8 p.m. We were there at 7:54 p.m. Then it happened, we entered the bar and the waiter freaked out ... too few people (there were four of us, he expected six), we would be too early too. Just cheeky as he insulted us Has. When we wanted to explain ourselves, he said we should go to the Gosch! But it was unbelievable!

Very rude yells at guests for no reason. Have never experienced anything like it. I'll never go there again. This is not how you can deal with guests who are just entering the restaurant

At the end of July I was alone on Sylt to learn to surf. I ended up having a meal at Florjans and I'm absolutely certain that I couldn't have made a better choice. The appointment was made personally 2 days in advance, because I happened to be nearby. The appointment processing was very friendly and completely unproblematic, even though I was alone, because due to the Corona restrictions I generally had slight concerns as to whether it might be uneconomical for restaurateurs to only serve me. These concerns turned out to be completely unnecessary and it was not an issue that I reserved just for myself. On arrival I was given the choice between conservatory and interior. Fortunately, I finally decided on the interior, because the interior is beautiful, very atmospheric and quaint. The atmosphere in the restaurant is just breathtakingly cozy. The music was very well chosen: varied but also no gibberish, relaxing but also not soporific, both unknowns and hits. The volume of the music was chosen very well because it did not interfere with conversations, but was still loud enough to be heard as background music. I would not have been happy with the winter garden because it is right on a busy street. The service was very courteous and it was a relief to see them interact with other guests, because I worked in the service for a long time and it was very appealing to see how the three were clearly organized and had assigned areas of responsibility, but each other nevertheless, if necessary, flexible mutual support, e.g. to clear a table in one go, and were extremely attentive and courteous. At least one of you seems to be really a specialist and to have learned in service because very good service etiquette was lived. It was a real delight to be able to experience and observe stylish service! In addition, when interacting with me, the service managed to find a very good balance between entertainment / support and discretion, so that I could feel extremely comfortable even though I was there alone. The food was very well presented and a real culinary delight. The portion sizes were just right and the time between courses was very well chosen. The rocket salad with beef fillet strips was a poem. Very tender meat to the point and the house dressing was phenomenal. The tomato cream soup was a full-fledged soup, which was completely convincing in its simplicity and was very successful. The sea bass fillet melted in your mouth and all the side dishes were a dream. Friesian cream was new to me, but it was a very good dessert choice. The fruits rounded off the cream perfectly. I'm still thrilled and will definitely come back if I'm on Sylt again.

The Florjan's is a lovely, family-run and very nice restaurant. We were 4x there on our Sylt vacation and it was ALWAYS very nice. Thank you for the delicious food and the nice evenings with you! We're looking forward to next time!

We more than enjoyed four out of five evenings here. Very nice and friendly service. The food is just great. A top restaurant to spend a nice and cozy evening with your loved ones. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back.

In our three weeks on Sylt we have never eaten better than here. Very well made dishes are served in a cozy Frisian ambience. The staff are all very nice, but could have been a bit more present. Too bad that there is only one vegetarian dish. But at least: some can't even do it.

We had a really excellent dinner here. The staff is always polite without being high. The food was consistently good quality. The ambience pleasant. The prices are among the higher on Sylt. That is the only downside.

A great restaurant, delicious food and the service was perfect. I hope to be back soon.
